Here are a few signs that you might be numbing without realizing it:

• You struggle to celebrate good news or let joy land fully.

• You're always taking in more info but rarely giving yourself space to digest or feel it.

• You avoid silence—even at home, even with yourself.

• Pleasure feels... muted.

• You're constantly “off,” irritated, or chronically disappointed.

If you recognize yourself in any of this: you’re not broken. You’re not alone. You’re likely brilliantly adapting to an environment or memory that once felt unsafe.

But you deserve more than survival mode. You deserve full feeling, deep presence, and sex that doesn’t feel like just another escape.
